Sales reps still pick up the phone.
Despite the phone being the number one form of communication, it ranks last in its effectiveness.
It’s not because the technology is bad.
It is because the people using the technology are ill-prepared and “wing it” without practicing. There are major problems that can occur while using the telephone, which are less likely to show up in a face-to-face situation.
