Eight of my 22 years training in the martial arts were spent practicing judo.
Judo is a martial art that relies on the use of perfect timing to unbalance opponents in order to throw them to the ground or choke them into submission.
When the timing is perfect, achieving that goal with an opponent is effortless and requires little to no strength at all.
It wasn’t until I moved to Hawaii to run a research station for Trojan Seed Company, that I learned effortless judo. This type of judo takes lots and lots of practice.
In fact, it takes so much practice that few judokas (practitioners) ever achieve and experience an effortless level of judo expertise.
In this week’s Rod Cam, I tell a story about how I learned (the hard way) that Brute Force doesn’t work in Judo or in the Seed Business.
