Seed Seller Training TV –
How many customers do you plan to lose this selling season?
No, I’m not talking about how many customers are going to see the Big Guy upstairs. Although, unfortunately that certainly does happen from time to time—especially as the median age of farmers continues to go up, not down.
I’m talking about how many customers are going to leave you this selling season and buy from someone else for their seed and input needs?
What is your customer retention rate? Do you even know?
That number is more important than most people may think because every year there are fewer and fewer farmers to sell to.
In the latest video from Seed Seller Training TV, I will give you 3 Things You Must Do To Maximize Your Customer Retention Rates and make sure your sales continue heading in the right direction.
Watch the video below to learn more!
1. You Must Be a Leader
If you are not leading then you are just following. What new information, ideas and goals are you bringing to the relationship?
If you can’t quantify that then you can bet that your customers can’t either.
2. Match Your Goals With His Expectations
You must set goals with each one of your customers and make sure his expectations and your goals match the customer’s farming operation.
This may sound like a no-brainer, but is often overlooked. It’s the reason the relationship ends since the customer and seed seller go in opposite directions and don’t even know it.
3. Track Your Customer’s Progress
Use a Progress Report with all of your customers and track how far they’ve come throughout the growing season. Find out what they’re thinking and see if they are starting to follow your lead.
