The question of what market prices are going to do is on the minds of everyone these days.
As a result, it’s coming up on almost every sales call and interaction with prospects and customers.
But that’s not the problem.
The problem is that too many of you are actually trying to answer that question. And that’s a horrible idea for two reasons:
1. You don’t know the answer, so stop pretending you do.
2. Even if you are clairvoyant, you don’t want to touch that subject with a ten-foot pole because you don’t want to go down that rabbit hole with the farmer. It doesn’t help you (or him) achieve the real goal of farming—more bushels.
