Anyone who has spent more than a year in the seed business has learned that allocations and substitutions are a fact of life.

They are going to occur every year whether you like it or not and for any number of reasons.  And if you think those two dreaded words send “shivers” down your spine….just think about what it does to your customer.

In our last video we talked about What You Should Be Doing In January and a key component in your New Year strategy was confirming every single order.  But when you confirm orders it is inevitable that the 2 Dreaded Words of Allocations & Substitutions will pop up.  So are you prepared?

Don’t continue to allow the allocation/substitution problem to plague your company.  You may not eliminate them totally, but you can certainly turn them into an uncommon event, rather than an annual, gut-wrenching occurrence.
